How to use "Google Duo" video Call App.

It’s another new day. Today, I bring you the new discovery in the world of video calling. We all know about video calling feature and video calling apps, like Skype, tango, BBM, and even the latest version of Snapchat supports video calling. But mostly, skype requires you to buy call card or will I call it credit before you can use it to make video calls. Meanwhile, all Apple phones come with a face time app which allows you to make video call with any other apple device. Now, Google unveils a new video calling app for both android and IOS devices called “Google Duo” this application will just be like the face time to all android devices because I know that newly released android phones will come with this application pre-installed.

The cool thing about this application is that it doesn’t require a username or requires you to login before you use it. What you only need to is to register with your phone number and when you are done, your contacts that are already using “Google Duo” will display on your contact list and for those that are not yet registered, you can easily invite them to download the application. 

This application doesn’t require credit or calling card. What it only uses is internet connection, as long as you have subscription on your phone and your data connection is on, then the application is ready to use

It also comes with a knock knock feature whereby when someone is calling you, it will display the persons live video before you answer the call. Now let me show you how to go about this application, how to download it, register it, and use it.

        1.      The first thing to do is to download the application first either from Google play store for android users and ITunes for IOS users or click HERE. You can easily search for the keyword “Google Duo” and it will be brought out for you for download. The application size is not much it’s just 24.36MB for download.

       2.      After the download, you will be required to put in your phone number which you want to register with. 

       3.      After that, another window will come out telling you that a confirmation pin will be sent to your number. If the number you want to use is on the phone you are using to register, the application will automatically input the pin and confirm by itself. But if the number you are using is on another phone the pin will be sent to that number and if you don’t receive the pin and the time is already out, it will be better if you require the new pin again through phone call it is more faster. Then you will receive a phone call telling you the pin to input.

      4.      After this process has been completed, then you are good to go. Enjoy video calling with your family and friends without any restriction, just tap the call button and the list of your contacts will be displayed for you. It’s as simple as that.

The “Google duo” is much easier to use and register because it only requires a phone number and not a username to login first.
