How to find your Android Phone without any Third party Application.

Are you worried about your android smartphone when lost or misplaced?? Or was your phone stolen or were a victim of any robbery and your phone was collected??  Not to worry your phone will be recovered very soon. Do you know you can track your Android phone or locate it where ever it is without any third party application required?
Many people most have been wondering on what to do whenever there phone is lost and perhaps worried about the contents you have on your phone because  there might be a lot of private things on the phone  which you don’t want people to access. You can secure your phone all thanks to the Google android administrator manager. Am sure we have all been seeing this under the security settings of our android phones but we don’t really know why it is there and what it is used for. Today am going to show you how to use this Android device administrator.

What can I do with the Google android administrator manager?

The Google android administrator manager is a security feature that comes with all android phones which is connected to your Google account. So with your Google account you will be able to use its features. That’s why it’s also advisable for you to connect your Google account to your android phone.

 This feature allows you to track the location of your phone where ever it is because it will be displayed on a map and the location and distance will be displayed. And also, if it’s misplaced in the house you can use this same feature to enable the device to ring so that you will be able to track from where the sound is coming from. Also, it also allows you to automatically lock your phone were ever it is whether stolen or misplaced. This feature enables you to change the lock system of your phone. You will be required to put a new password which will be used to lock the phone and you can also leave a note on the lock screen of the phone and also phone number that can be called so that a Good Samaritan will be able to contact you quickly.
This same feature allows you to erase all the files on your phone when stolen. This is done for security reasons in case you have files that are kept privately. Now let me Show you how to use the Android Device manager.

How can I use My Android Device Manager feature??

Every android phone enables this feature as long as your Google account is connected with your phone. So before you do this, make sure your Google account is logged in on your phone or on your computer.

1.      The first thing to always do before this feature can be used efficiently is to make sure your Google account is connected to your phone or to your computer and the device administrator manager is activated on the lost or stolen phone through the security settings. If you don’t know how to activate this, simply go to your settings, then locate your security settings, then look for Device Administrator manager. Make sure this feature is activated before you can use the “Google find my phone” feature. If the device administrator is not activated on your phone then the “Google find my phone” won’t work.

  1.    To find your phone, simply log on to your Google account, when you are logged in then navigate to your account settings. There you will be able to find this feature or simply use the Google search and type in “find my phone” then it will bring it out. Then click on it and it will navigate to your Google account settings showing you the list of your phones that are connected to your Google account.

  2.     Now select the phones which you want to trace either you want to locate it, erase it, lock it, or make it ring, just select the device. Once you select the device then a list will be brought out for you either to locate the phone or to make it ring. Also, there are various features you can use by contacting your network carrier to help you block your sim, and also other features you can use.

  3.   After you have selected the “locate” option, then it starts to find the location of the lost or stolen phone. When the device location is ON, it will enable an accurate location of the mobile device.

  4.   After the device has been located you will be able to see the distance form your present location and the address, you can also lock the phone so that anyone won’t have access to use the phone. You can also do this by clicking on “lock” which is part of the below option of the “find my phone” window.

  5.  Also, under the below options you can also make your phone ring in case you misplaced the phone inside the house or in your car. The phone will ring at its highest volume so that you will be able to hear and trace where the sound is coming from.
  6.   Also, under this feature you can erase all the things on your phone, either music, pictures, files etc. you can easily do this just by clicking on “erase” then you will be asked to confirm before erasing your phone. Then everything on the phone will be deleted.


Please Note:
  • ·         When you erase the phone through this feature, the erased contents can’t be recovered because it has been permanently deleted.
  • ·         Also, the password you use to lock your device will be used to unlock it when your device is recovered.
  • ·         This feature can only work when your Android device administrator is enabled.
  • ·         The location can only be accurate only if your device location is turned on.
  • ·         This entire feature can only work when your device is connected to the internet either through Wi-Fi or through data connection.


This is great because you don’t even need any third party application to track your phone and to remotely lock it. All thanks to the Android device administrator manager.
